Bessa has made an unquestionable claim in the art world with many acclaimed exhibitions, publications, and has contributed texts to numerous catalogs, anthologies, and scholarly journals. Bessa completed his Ph.D. in Art Education from New York University and earned an MFA from Pratt Institute.
